Pregnancy shoots are carried out in our Portrait studio based in Papakura as well as at outdoor locations. Parks or secluded beaches are preferred for outdoor shoots. We will soon provide outfits and props for pregnancy shoots.
Newborn shoots are carried out in our newborn and baby friendly studio based in Papakura, Auckland. Every care is taken to ensure the baby and you are well looked after, giving you that peace of mind during the shoot. Newborn shoots are best to be scheduled between first fourteen days to 6 weeks. The newborns are more settled during this period and the bodies are much tiny to try out several poses. All the props and outfits are provided for the shoot.

Pro-Tip
From my point of view I would want you to have as much variety in pics as possible. Every pic needs to be in a different backdrop. Different costumes add more character to your shoot. All images are edited, processed and then presented in an online gallery. You would be able to shortlist your selection of digital images and request the prints.
Props and outfits are provided for Pregnancy, Newborn and Baby shoots. Outfits included different themed outfits, wraps and accesories. Props include different baskets, hammocks etc.
For Newborn Shoots
Please arrive 15-20 minutes prior to shoot to ensure your little bub is relaxed and settled. Allow between 2-3 hours of shooting time as the show is usually run by the newborns and not us! Props are provided for the shoot in different set ups. If you are pregnant and wondering when is the ideal time to shoot newborns? Its usually in the first 15 days after they are born. Their bodies are more flexible and they easily curl up. They sleep better and makes it easy to capture them. In having said that babies of any age can be captured and have captured babies ranging from 4 weeks up to a year.
